T2T Recap

During RSAC 2026, we had the privilege of hosting a fundraising reception in support of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. What unfolded was more than an evening during a busy conference week. It was a moment for our community to come together with a shared purpose.

Everyone in the room had a reason for being there. Beyond professional connections, there was a common thread that connected us all: remembrance. Like so many, we each carry a memory of where we were on September 11, 2001. That shared experience grounded the evening in something deeper than a typical industry gathering.

A Message That Stayed with Us

One of the most impactful moments of the night came from Anthony Lacorazza, Tunnel to Towers Board Member and ASAIC of the U.S. Secret Service New York Field Office.

Anthony shared his personal experience serving as a Special Agent in New York City during 9/11. He reflected on the loss of his best friend that day, bringing a deeply personal perspective to the mission of Tunnel to Towers.

He then highlighted the tangible impact the Foundation continues to make:

  • Supporting more than 17,500 homeless veterans through housing assistance and services
  • Providing housing stability for over 4,000 children
  • Delivering more than 1,700 mortgage-free homes to families of fallen first responders and service members

He also highlighted the Foundationโ€™s continued growth, including the recently announced Mae and George Siller Scholarship Program, which provides full tuition support for children in its Gold Star, Fallen First Responder, and Smart Home programs.

These numbers are significant, but what resonated most was what they represent. They demonstrated the dedication of real people and families delivering second chances to those who need them the most in times of their greatest need.

Anthony closed with a reminder that stayed with many of us who attended the reception. For families facing unimaginable loss or hardship, Tunnel to Towers is often the first moment of relief. Whether itโ€™s the moment they learn their mortgage is paid off or theyโ€™re handed the keys to their new home, they realize their future is more secure and, most important, they are not alone.

A Community Showing Up

Throughout the evening, guests connected over food, drinks, and conversation, while participating in raffles and a silent auction, all in support of the Foundationโ€™s mission.

While the generosity of the evening stood out, it was the intention behind it from every attendee that stole the show. This wasnโ€™t just another networking event during RSA. It was a group of people choosing to show up for something meaningful.

Gratitude and Impact

Together, we are proud to say that we raised over $18,000 in support of Tunnel to Towers at RSAC.

Weโ€™re incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make the evening what it was. This collective effort directly advances a mission that provides stability, dignity, and hope to those who have given so much.

Weโ€™d also like to recognize our co-sponsors, HackerOneNetRiseCarahsoftDataminr, and Cycode. Their partnership was instrumental in bringing this event to life and expanding its impact.

At Nucleus Security, we often talk about protecting what matters. Supporting Tunnel to Towers is a reflection of that belief in its most human form. This event was a reminder that even during one of the busiest weeks in our industry, there is space, and responsibility, for purpose.

If youโ€™d like to learn more or support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, we encourage you to get involved and be part of this mission.
