Unofficial FIRST Football Event 2026: World Cup Edition
We are once again proud to sponsor and host the unofficial FIRST Conference annual football tradition, now coming to Denver for World Cup summer!
Join us for an evening of 5v5 football with your peers, live World Cup viewing on the big screen, and a beer garden under the Colorado sky. This is the networking event you don’t want to miss.
What? Where? When?
- Monday, June 15, 2026 | 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM MT
- Skyline Park – clubhouse access, water, beer garden, and World Cup viewing on site
- Meet in the Sheraton Denver lobby at 6:30PM to walk over together (12 min walk)
- Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate if you are playing or cheering when you register
- Be sure to wear soft shoes or sneakers! Nucleus will provide t-shirts to participants.
The Format
- Two 5v5 pitches running simultaneously
- Cheerleaders and spectators welcome, beer garden and live World Cup viewing while you wait your turn
- While you’re on the pitch, the FIFA World Cup group stage is live on the screen, showing the Iran vs. New Zealand match at 7PM. Play, then watch.
Join us for a Post-Game Drink
After football, head over to 5280 Burger Bar, just a 2-minute walk from the Sheraton to keep the conversation going. Enjoy Colorado craft beers, cocktails, and a lively atmosphere at this local favorite known for its chef-crafted burgers and great vibes.
